CESSCGA Policies:
Club policy pertains to rules and procedures that are not included in the constitution. Club policy may be changed at any time upon a majority vote of the board.
Dues paid by new members in September, October, or November will count as dues for the following year.
For the sake of continuity, the past president shall be invited to serve as a member of the board during the year following his/her
presidency.
If a board member or officer misses three board meetings, the said member or officer shall be brought up for discussion by the board to find a replacement for said member or officer at the next board meeting.
Prospective regular members living within a sixty (60) mile radius of Northlake Mall must attend at least one club meeting before their membership application can be read before the general membership.
The club shall send members undergoing major surgery or suffering an extended illness a card. A $50.00 donation to a charitable organization in the club's name in memory of the decedent shall be made in the event of a death in a club member's immediate family. (parent, spouse, or child)
The treasurer shall maintain written documentation on all checks written and all checks and cash received, including the person's name to whom the check was written and the reason for the payment, and from whom the funds were received and for what purpose.
All incoming checks shall be made payable to CESSCGA.
When a formal complaint is filed, the club shall accept only cash or certified check to be paid at the time of the complaint.
A member shall be suspended from all committee and board positions if charges brought against him/her are sustained by the board. The suspension shall remain in effect until the sustained charges are resolved.
Contact information for breed referral is limited to CESSCGA members only.
Any person whose check is denied by the bank or who fails to pay a financial commitment to the club shall be considered not in good standing with the club and shall not be allowed to participate in any club activities until the default is paid. Three attempts, two in writing, will be made to collect said debt before the person is declared not in good standing. All privileges shall be reinstated upon satisfactory settlement of the debt.
